building, configuring, and managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) v.5
and/or 6 servers

Experience
in Linux HPSA
·
This
position is responsible for planning, implementing and performing all of the various
tasks required to operate and maintain multiple Linux and Solaris systems.
·
Maintain
mission critical trading platforms
·
Project
management skills
·
Ability
to multitask and run multiple projects simultaneously
·
Resolves
system problems by debugging, identifying the root cause and applying
corrective maintenance.
·
Resolves
system performance problems by careful analysis of the available information
sources, identifies the root cause and recommends appropriate tuning
activities.
·
Initiates
new responsibilities and helps plan for the future of the site/network
·
Customer
Focus: Makes and meets internal customer commitments, including closing
customer issues in a timely manner.
·
Driving
standards for system administration processes and writing scripts to automate
the processes.
·
Participating
in Unix System Admin team's 24/7 On-call & Early support rotation
